The service
Recast cleans and validates JSON in your browser. The free tier includes a limited number of cleans per day. Pro is a paid subscription that removes the limit and unlocks batch processing.
About Recast's output
Recast explains every change it makes and flags any structural inference used to reconstruct incomplete JSON (shown as “Inferred” or “Valid (inferred)”). You are responsible for checking flagged output before relying on it. Recast is provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind.
Acceptable use
Do not reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, resell, or redistribute Recast or its code. Do not use Recast for any unlawful purpose.
Pro subscription
Pro is $8 per month, billed through Lemon Squeezy. Billing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled by Lemon Squeezy under their terms. You can cancel anytime; Pro remains active through the end of the period you have paid for.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Recast is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the tool. How you use the tool's output is your responsibility.
Changes
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of Recast means you accept the current version.
