Privacy Policy

Everything you paste into Recast is cleaned and validated entirely on your own device. It is never uploaded, logged, stored on a server, or transmitted to us or anyone else.

Your history, saved schemas, preferences, and (if you buy Pro) your license key are saved in your browser's local storage — on your device only. Clearing your browser data removes them. We never receive any of it.

Recast makes network requests only for Pro license validation — when you activate Pro and periodically afterward (about once a day) to confirm your subscription is still active. Each request sends only your license key to our validation endpoint, which checks it with Lemon Squeezy, our payment provider. No JSON or other personal information is included.

Payments are handled entirely by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record. Recast never sees or stores your card number or billing details. Lemon Squeezy's handling of your payment data is covered by their own privacy policy.

Recast uses no analytics or tracking.

Because Recast collects essentially no personal data, there is little to access, correct, or delete beyond what already lives on your own device under your control. For any privacy question, contact hello.recast@gmail.com.
